Sword remains in very fine condition. This is a super high grade example that is exceptionally pretty. Scabbard reads Presented to Capt. Alfons Scheaker By the members NEW YORK SCHUETZEN CORPS June 10th 1926. Blade is near excellent and etched on both sides. The extra fancy hilting and Tortoise shell grip remains in excellent condition. The extra fancy brass mounted scabbard is has no dents and some minor blenishes. Sword measures 40 1/2" overall. Research needs to be done.
