Bayonet remains in fine condition. Blade is marked GEBR.SIMSON SUHL. Blade top and pommel have small proof marks. Muzzle ring has dish cutout and fits perfect on a M-1888 Commission rifle. The scabbard is in very nice shape and fits blade perfect. The seem is slightly open and can be easily glued if wanted. Bayonet measures 25 3/4" in scabbard.
