I recently acquired a sword belonging to a past member of the Putnam Phalanx of Connecticut. Cannot find very much about the Phalanx and what kind of organization it was. I know about Gen. I. Putnam of Revolutionary War fame as I am originally from Westchester/Putnam County, NY. Any help would be appreciated. The organization is not in your book and the first I have heard of it is with the purchase of the sword. Thanks, Lee
